So we don't love the stylus. Steve Jobs didn't love the stylus, either. See, we had so much in common *sniff...*.
Seriously, though. if there's one major user for the stylus it's art applications, or... the smash-hit Draw Something. Now, bear this in mind: We don't love Draw Something on the iPhone. While it's a reasonably enjoyable diversion for a few minutes, it's extremely frustrating due to the size of the screen. Drawing fine objects and lines is a veritable nightmare!
That said, if you have an iPad, it's considerably more enjoyable. Much more freedom of finger movement. And with that said, if you have a stylus, you'll have even more fun.
So there you have it. To really enjoy Draw Something, you'll really want a stylus. A while back we reviewed such a device, the Wacom Bamboo stylus, which, in case you're wondering, isn't made of bamboo at all (go figure). We liked it - as much as we can like a stylus, but for this game it's just essential. It's unbelievable how much more accurate you can be, and you can just tell when someone is using a pointing device other than their finger when you play against them. The difference is just so obvious. So there you go, - if you want to make beautiful artwork in Draw Something, you need a Wacom Bamboo stylus.
